Three Cliches that Still Work Today

Here are three clichés, which no matter how often quoted by successful people during their lengthy inspirational speeches or a quick interview, whether a celebrated businessman or accomplished athlete, still proved to be effective lamppost in their journey which can be guiding light as well the to the path you want to take.

1.)  Dream Big.
A saying goes, “aim for the start and you’ll hit the treetop, aim for the treetop and you’ll hit the ground.” Dreaming is free so you might as well do it big time. After all, what the mind conceives, the body will achieve.

2.)  Follow Your Heart
Another classic adage goes, “do what you love most to do and you’ll never work a day in your life.” The happiest, most fulfilled and most passionate persons in the world subscribe to this sage advice. Since they love what they’re doing, it reflects to their personality, and in return they can give so much love to the people around them. Unknowingly, they made a difference in such way.

3.)  You Can Make a Difference.
Sure there are seven billion people in the world and that makes you just a small pixel in the big picture of population. You may think that whatever you’ll do is of no effect. It may be true but remember, in your life span, it was said that you will meet 10,000 people. Now, how’s that for no effect?
Also, there’s such thing as ripple effect. Remember the person, you intensely admire today wouldn’t have inspired you had he believed that he or she can’t make a difference. You have the power to affect, effect and infect positive change to somebody close to you. He or she may do the same to her circle of friends and family. In time, that small undertaking may benefit a family, community and who knows, even the world.
